Since 2024, the ENOUGH campaign has empowered children, schools, and communities to champion improved nutrition, hygiene, and sanitation. Its child-centred approach combines policy analysis, capacity development, school-based monitoring, and advocacy to strengthen national WASH and nutrition standards in schools.

CLADHO and World Vision Rwanda implement the Citizen Voice and Action social accountability model to strengthen citizen participation, accountability, and responsive public services. Citizens compare services against national policies and minimum standards, engage duty bearers, and advocate for practical solutions across WASH, education, health, nutrition, child protection, resilience, and livelihoods.

With World Vision Rwanda, CLADHO undertakes national advocacy and budget influencing so children's voices, needs, and priorities are reflected in public policies, plans, and budgets. Through research, evidence-based advocacy, policy dialogue, and engagement with Parliament, MINECOFIN, MIGEPROF, MINEDUC, NCDA, and districts, CLADHO advocates for stronger investment and accountability in child protection, education, nutrition, health, WASH, and meaningful child participation.

Since 1993, CLADHO has united Rwanda's human rights leagues and associations, today 23 member organizations, around one purpose: turning evidence and citizen voice into policies, budgets and services that respect the rights of every person, especially children, women and vulnerable communities.
