Safeguarding & Inclusion
Equality at Every Level
Gender mainstreaming is a core strategy across all CLADHO activities. We assess the implications for women and men in every planned action, ensuring equality is embedded in design, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation. We also prioritize safeguarding from sexual exploitation, abuse, and harassment (SEAH), and the inclusion of people with disabilities.

Children as Rights Holders
CLADHO applies a Child Rights-Based Approach (CRBA) that views children as independent rights holders. We promote children's protection, provision, and participation rights, tackling root causes of rights violations and ensuring children are involved in planning and evaluating initiatives that affect their lives.
